LOCOG | London 2012 Olympic Bid identity
The London Organising Bid Commitee for the 2012 Olympics put out an open brief to the design community to design a identity for the Official London Bid.
I was selected onto a shortlist of 3 finalists from over 10,000 design entries.
A simple and memorable idea in which 2012 is highlighted in the Olympic colours, whilst the word London is still immediately readable.
I was commissioned by LOCOG to develop the branding and illustrate how the brand would work in promoting and increasing awareness for the London 2012 Olympics bid.
