Mercedes–Benz CL Class | Campaign and Advertising
To promote the launch of the new Mercedes-Benz CLS model, a limited edition brochure, associated collateral and advertising was required.
The ‘Technology of Seduction’ theme was illustrated with stories and images of passion and seduction. Themes included The Venice Carnival (Mask festival), The book ‘On the Road’ by Jack Kerouac, The song and history of ‘The Girl from Ipanema’ and the the films ‘Chocolat’, ‘Dangerous Liaisons’ and ‘Perfume: the story of a murderer’.
The ‘Technology of Seduction’ themes were illustrated throughout the marketing and advertising collateral using specially commissioned and art directed black & white photography with red details highlighted, to compliment and work alongside the Mercedes-Benz CLS photography.
